    Psychological Counselling · Systemic-Integrative Psychotherapy

Many of the people who come to me appear stable and reflected on the outside. Inside it often feels different: tense, exhausted, in a constant struggle with themselves — at work, in relationships, or in how they relate to food, exercise and their own body.

Counselling or therapy can help you understand these patterns better, find more inner orientation, and develop a different way of relating to pressure, self-criticism and control.

    What I Work With

    Focus Areas

    Pressure & Exhaustion

    • You keep functioning, but feel constantly tense inside
    • It's hard to switch off or truly rest
    • You put yourself under a lot of pressure
    • You often feel you're not doing enough

    Self-Criticism & Rumination

    • Your inner critic is harsh and always present
    • You think a lot, but rarely arrive at ease
    • You doubt yourself or your worth
    • Perfectionism and high standards weigh on you

    Food, Body Image & Control

    • Food takes up a lot of mental space
    • You experience control, restriction or guilt around eating
    • Exercise feels like pressure or compensation, not freedom
    • Your mood depends strongly on how you see your body

    Transitions & Reorientation

    • A tension is building and something needs to shift
    • You're in a personal or professional transition
    • You're facing a difficult decision
    • You're looking for clarity, grounding and orientation

    My Approach

My work is systemically grounded. That means I don't look at what burdens you in isolation, but always in the context of your life situation, relationships, roles, expectations and recurring patterns. I work solution-oriented and resource-focused, and draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy when helpful.

What matters to me is that you are neither judged prematurely nor reduced to a simple explanation.

    A Bit About Me

I'm a psychologist (M.Sc., Clinical Psychology, Goethe University Frankfurt) and systemic counsellor. I hold a state-recognised licence for non-medical psychotherapy — which means I'm authorised to work psychotherapeutically outside the statutory health-insurance system.

Alongside my academic and clinical training, I bring experience from the corporate world (talent development, consulting, HR). That helps me in working with people who carry a lot, achieve a lot, and often appear composed on the outside while feeling under pressure inside.
